Family of God Medal    The Family of God program is the official religious recognition program of the Roman Catholic Church for children ages 7-9. The purpose of the program is to help children explore a wide range of activities to discover the presence of God in their lves as members of their family and parish. 

 

I Live My Faith Medal     I Live My Faith Medal is designed to help youth, ages 9-11,  appreciate deeply the place that God and religion occupy in their lives. Durring the 4-6 months of fulfilling the requirements of this program, the dimensions of discovery, prayer, service & sacraments are blended into a unified whole.

 

 

The Marian Medal      The booklet Mary, the First disciple is designed for Girl Scouts ages 12-15.  The program is action oriented with a strong emphasis on reflective action. The program is designed to be done within a peer group under the guidance of a program counsellor.

 

 

 

The Spirit Alive     For youth ages 15-17, this program helps them discover the Holy Spirit acting in their lives through a program of research, dialogue and activities.

These relate to the Catholic awards earned and can be worn along with the medals.


 

 

 

 Rosary Patches

 

Rosary Patches may be earned by scouts and adults by studing the different mysteries of the rosary.  Contact the Archdiocesean office for more information 415-6145650, see order form above or

These are Awards of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.  For each Catholic Award earned a rocker may be added to the Archdiocesan Patch.  Any scout my wear the Archdiocesan Patch as a practicing Catholic.

 

The Eucharistic Patch was designed to celebrate the Jubliee Year of the Church and helps scouts to deepen their understanding and love for the Eucharist. You may download worksheets.  When complete contact the office for patches.
